Kiricka
Kiricka Yarbough Smith is the Founder and CEO of KYS Consulting Group. As the former Director of Human Trafficking Programs at the NC Department of Administration, Council for Women and Youth Involvement, she led impactful initiatives to address interpersonal and gender-based violence, including establishing the NC Community Advocates Advisory Committee to increase access to services for communities of color.
With over 20 years of experience, Kiricka focuses on building resiliency in marginalized communities and ensuring equitable access to services for survivors. As a consultant for the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, she contributes to the development of culturally specific resources and services. Kiricka's expertise extends to training on cultural inclusion and intersectional approaches in addressing human trafficking, child abuse, and domestic violence.
