Melvin
Melvin (Jai) Jackson holds a doctorate in educational leadership and research from Louisiana State University and has extensive experience in strategic educational leadership. Dr. Jackson is the Assistant Vice Provost for Faculty Engagement in the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity at NC State University.
In preparation for his current role, he has been the director of graduate student recruitment, mentoring, and success in the College of Education at NC State University. Before that, he served as the chair of the Department of Advising and Academic Development at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Jackson is a passionate educator seeking to advance community success through service, scholarship, and mentorship.
